How can you dispose of old medication?
|
Old or unneeded medication can be disposed of in a few ways. An easy option is to order a free envelope to mail your medicines in. Click here to order an envelope or Scan the QR code below Then, enter your zip code and click on the 'Mail-Back Services' icon. |
Depending on your location, you can also take the medication to a drop-off bin at your local pharmacy or sheriff station in their original container or a sealed bag. Not every city or pharmacy will offer this.
Find a drop box here Enter your zip code and click on the 'Find a Location' icon. The medications will be incinerated and properly disposed of to prevent environmental contamination. |
